Cream of Green Bean Soup

| Amount | Ingredient | Preparation |

| 2-3 cups | cut green beans | |
| 2 | potatoes | |
| 1 tablespoon | butter | |
| 1 tablespoon | cooking lard | |
| 1 teaspoon | flour | |
| 1 cup | heavy cream |
1. Cook cut beans and 2 good-sized potatoes until tender. Strain and save the water.
2. Remove the potatoes from the beans and mash them.
3. In a large sauce pan, brown 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon lard
4. Add a the water in which beans were cooked, the mashed potatoes, the beans and the cream.
5. Mix well, Simmer until hot and then serve.
