Mash Potatoes

6 medium/large potatoes
as needed milk
4 T Butter
5-6 spring onions
5 cloves fresh garlic
to taste salt

1. Skin your potatoes and dice into large chunks. Boil your potatoes in water until you can easily slide a fork through the thickest part of the potato.

2. While you're waiting for your potatoes to soften, slice the spring onions and garlic. In a sauce pan, melt the butter. Add the spring onions. When the onions are softened, remove and set aside. In a sauce pan heat 1 cup milk and low/medium heat. Add the garlic and simmer for 1 full min, set aside.

3. When the potatoes are soft, drain them. Add the milk and butter. Mash until smooth. Add salt as needed. Enjoy!
